The 3M heat shrink repair sleeve HDCW is used for the quick and safe repair of damaged cable sheaths on low and medium voltage cables. Its inside is coated with a hot melt adhesive, so it offers a watertight seal on all plastic and metal sheaths. A coating with temperature indicator paint on the outside of the sleeve indicates the end of the shrinking process by changing color. A rust-proof metal rail serves as a closure, which you can remove after the sleeve has cooled down. The repair sleeve is made of cross-linked polyolefin. It is UV-resistant and halogen-free.
