Simply prepare the connection, position the tubing and pull out the support coil.3M™ Cold Shrink Sleeves are tubular sleeves with open ends and a sealing mastic. After the insulation sleeve is positioned over a pipe connector, the support coil can be pulled out at one end, causing the ends of the sleeve to shrink and form a watertight seal. The core and tubing size ranges, together with the sealing mastic at each end, ensure a wider range of applications without compromising the sealing and insulation provided by the EPDM rubber. The active deformation of the specially formulated material ensures permanent sealing and insulation from the environment.
