The OVR PV T2 surge protection device protects electrical systems against surges. They are tested in accordance with IEC 61643-31, DIN EN 50539-11 and UL 1449 5th Ed Type 2. The status of the surge protection device is shown via a function display. OVR with Telesignal TS are optionally equipped with a potential-free changeover contact and can report the status to a monitoring system, for example. The application is specifically on the DC side of photovoltaic systems.
