Overvoltage protection devices OVR PV T1-T2 protect electrical systems against lightning surges. They are tested according to IEC 61643-31, DIN EN 50539-11 and UL 1449 Type 1+2. The status of the overvoltage protection device is shown via a mechanical function display. OVR with Telesignal TS are optionally equipped with a potential-free changeover contact and can report the status to a monitoring system, for example. The application is specifically on the DC side of photovoltaic systems.
