MS132-B stands for the compact and powerful series with a width of 45 mm for motor protection up to 15 kW (400 V) in railway applications. The devices meet the current railway standards and are therefore suitable for installation in passenger areas and driver's cabs of trains that frequently travel in tunnels and underground. They offer reliable protection in the event of overload and short circuit and have a disconnecting function. , Operation is via a rotary handle with a clear switch position indicator I/TRIP/0; MS132-B also has a short circuit indicator. The rotary handle can be locked in the 0 position using a padlock. Auxiliary, signal and short-circuit reporting contacts as well as undervoltage and shunt current releases can be attached without tools; these accessories can also be used for MS165-B. 3-phase rails for 65 A or 100 A and feed-in blocks for 25 mm² or 35 mm² allow the joint feeding of several motor protection switches. Protective housings and accessories for control cabinet and door installation complete the range. MS132-B have tripping class 10, are temperature compensated and sensitive to phase failure. They meet the international railway standards IEC 60077 in the applicable parts, IEC 61373 (category 1, class B) for shock and vibration as well as the European safety standard EN 45545-2 for fire and smoke.
