Motor protection switch MS165 with thermal and electromagnetic protection represents the compact and powerful series with high short-circuit breaking capacity for motor protection up to 30 kW (400 V) with a module width of 55 mm. The temperature-compensated device has a rotary handle operation with a clear switch position indicator I/TRIP/0. In addition, MS165 has a short-circuit indicator. The rotary handle can be locked directly in the 0 position using a padlock. Auxiliary, signal and short-circuit signaling contacts as well as undervoltage and shunt current releases can be installed without tools. 3-phase rails for 125 A allow several motor protection switches to be fed together. Accessories for control cabinet installation complement the range. Atex validation allows the protection of motors in Ex areas, UL approval as a self-protected combination motor controller expands the area of application in North America.
