Open housing sides enable optimal access for wiring and assembly, even after the housings have been connected. The side openings can be closed with locking or combination flanges. The flanges result in a flat housing side. Each large housing is a multiple of a smaller one. The fastening points with a step width of 25 mm in the base and on the upper edge of the housing are also each a multiple of the smallest housing. The lower part of the housing and the cable flanges are made of glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate (light gray, RAL 7035). The covers are made of either transparent or light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate. A wide range of accessories such as mounting plates, cover plates, raising frames, etc. make VMS a complete system for energy distribution and control technology. VMS housings are halogen-free, corrosion-resistant and require no maintenance. VMS housings ensure optimum safety of operation and equipment due to their complete insulation and protection class IP65 in accordance with IEC 60529 and EN 60529. VMS housings offer optimum operator and system protection through protective insulation and protection class IP65 in accordance with IEC 60529 and EN 60529.
