Each foot switch is equipped with four rubber feet to prevent slipping. The foot lever is made of thermoplastic. An accident protection cover made of die-cast aluminum completely shields the pedal from above and from the sides and, with its wide outreach, ensures high stability. Accidental activation by objects falling from above or carelessness from the side is thus prevented. Due to its stability, the cover can withstand a drop weight of 20 kg from a height of 1 m. In the case of foot switches with pedal locking, the pedal is only released for activation after the locking lever has been released with the shoe. This prevents accidental activation even in the event of strong vibrations caused by improper handling.
