Residual current circuit breakers are used to detect and protect against residual currents. They ensure fault protection, additional protection (personal protection) and protection against electrically ignited fires caused by residual currents to earth. The residual current circuit breakers of the FN series in the AEG portfolio are mainly used in household and commercial applications. Combined with the extensive range of accessories, the portfolio offers you everything you need for your installation tasks. FI types A, AI, AS, B and F. Nominal currents from 25A to 100A and rated residual currents up to 500mA (30, 300, 500 mA). Type B FI's are suitable for non-linear circuits that can generate residual currents with a high DC component (> 6 mA) or alternating residual currents with a wide variety of frequencies.
