The Mini-GBIC 100BaseFX Multimode Transceiver DEM-211 is equipped with a 100Mbit/s Fiber FX (LC-Duplex) port. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.3u and SFP MSA standards, based on industry standards. Compatibility with other devices is thus guaranteed.
The DEM-211 offers performance and flexibility. It supports speeds of up to 200Mbit/s in full duplex mode. The maximum distance is 2 km.
In addition, the Mini GBIC transceiver is hot-swappable, which means it can be installed or removed while the switch is running. The switch is still available to all other users during this time.
