The D-Link standalone converter DMC-905/E forwards a 10G/5G/2.5G/1G twisted pair Ethernet signal via a 10G SFP+ slot. The maximum cable length depends on the optional SFP transceiver used and the cable connected to it. A converter can be used quickly and easily wherever different cable media are connected together.
