With a remote drive (ARD), connected residual current circuit breakers are switched on and off remotely. This significantly increases system availability. ARD with automatic function automatically switches the circuit breaker back on. If a system error is detected, it will not be switched back on. The Doepke residual current circuit breakers DFS 2 and DFS 4 can be monitored and switched using the devices from the DFA 3 series, which are only one TE wide. Depending on the variant, the DFA switches the RCCB back on three or zero times. The DFA 3 signals the status of the connected residual current circuit breaker via a semiconductor output. Notes: According to the standard, automatic restarting is only permitted in areas to which only electrically trained persons and qualified electricians have access. The remote drive does not affect the function of the residual current circuit breaker.
