The purpose of circuit breakers is to automatically switch off circuits to protect cables and connected devices. After switching off, they can be switched on again manually without, for example, having to replace fuse inserts. Each of our circuit breakers is equipped with a trip-free mechanism that ensures safe switching off, even if, for example, the switch knob is mechanically blocked. Circuit breakers in the DLS 6 series protect cables, lines and installation devices against overload and short circuits in accordance with DIN0100. The series includes a large selection of different types, from switches for residential and commercial buildings to switches for industrial use. Thanks to their compact design, circuit breakers in the DLS 6 series offer maximum space for convenient wiring. The large clamping range and the option of using commercially available wiring rails ensure easy installation. The DLS 6i version is particularly suitable for use in industrial plants due to its high rated switching capacity of 10 kA.
