FI/LS combinations (RCBO) are circuit breakers with residual current releases for protecting systems in the event of short circuits and overloads in accordance with the requirements of 0100 Part 430 and for protecting people, livestock and property in the event of earth fault currents in accordance with 0100 Part 410. The overcurrent release is triggered by a slow-acting, heat-sensitive bimetal release for currents in the overload range and by an electromagnetic quick-release release for short-circuit currents. The high-quality FI/LS combinations of the DRCBO 3 series are independent of the mains voltage and are characterized by a high rated switching capacity of 10 kA. The green-red contact position indicator and the residual current release indicator provide a quick overview of the operating status of the devices. Both the clamping aid rear plug protection and the tristable locking slide make installation and removal easier. RCBOs with residual current characteristic A are independent of the mains voltage and enable the detection of sinusoidal alternating and pulsating direct residual currents. RCBOs with tripping characteristic C are primarily suitable for power circuits with high inrush or peak currents, since their short-circuit tripping is five to ten times the value of the rated current. Standard devices are designed for monitoring circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz, and 60 Hz in some series. Features: - mains voltage independent tripping - small size for all rated currents - high short-circuit strength - green-red contact position indicator - residual current trip indicator - clamping bracket terminals with rear protection and wide clamping cross-section range for rail and line wiring on both connection sides - use of commercially available wiring rails possible - neutral conductor on the right - tristable locking slides for easy insertion and removal
