RCBOs combine residual current and circuit breakers in one device (FI/LS combination). They protect people from residual currents and systems from short circuits and overloads. DRCBO 4 have a rated switching capacity of 6 kA. In addition to the tripped indicator, they also have a labeling window. Type B+ residual current circuit breakers detect smooth DC residual currents and all other residual currents at frequencies up to 20 kHz.
