The purpose of circuit breakers is to automatically switch off circuits to protect cables and connected devices. After switching off, they can be switched on again manually without, for example, having to replace fuse inserts. Each of our circuit breakers is equipped with a trip-free mechanism that ensures safe switching off, even if, for example, the switch knob is mechanically blocked. Circuit breakers in the DLS 6 series protect cables, lines and installation devices against overload and short circuits in accordance with DIN0100. The series includes a large selection of different types, from switches for residential and commercial buildings to switches for industrial use. Thanks to their compact design, circuit breakers in the DLS 6 series offer maximum space for convenient wiring. The large clamping range and the option of using commercially available wiring rails ensure easy installation. In addition, a large number of additional devices such as shunt releases and auxiliary and fault indicators can be connected. The DLS 6hdc version for direct current networks is suitable for distribution and final circuits with its rated switching capacity of 6 kA. Switches with tripping characteristic B ensure standard protection for lighting and socket circuits. Properties: for use in direct current networks, rated switching capacity 6 kA, clamping yoke terminals with a wide clamping cross-section range for rail and cable wiring on both connection sides, special quick fastening for removing several circuit breakers from the lower or upper rail assembly, large, hinged labeling window for secure hold and protection of the label, use of commercially available wiring rails, ON/OFF switch position indicator on the switch knob, accessories can be retrofitted on the right, free labeling software, mounting type: quick fastening on mounting rail, installation position as desired, areas of application: suitable for use in direct current supplies for residential buildings and purpose-built or commercial buildings. Notes: Influence of the ambient temperature on the thermal tripping: Reduction of the current values at higher ambient temperatures and increase at lower temperatures by approx. 5% per 10 degrees C temperature difference. For 2-pole devices, the series connection of the poles must be observed.
