Load shedding relays switch off a connected consumer when another is switched on. In this way, they prevent current peaks by preventing the simultaneous operation of powerful consumers. The compact devices in the RLR series have a potential-free break relay. The RLR 2 has an additional drop-out delay. Properties: - Coil input up to 5.3 A, - potential-free relay as break contact up to 1 A, - drop-out delay 0 (RLR 1) or 2 mains half-waves (RLR 2) - Module width only 1 pitch unit (17.5 mm), protection class IP 20 Mounting type: - Quick attachment to mounting rail - Installation position as desired Areas of application: The load shedding relays can be used wherever the simultaneous operation of powerful electrical consumers is undesirable and a consumer that has been in operation for a long time can be switched off, e.g. for night-time heating and instantaneous water heaters.
