Impulse switches, also known as remote or pulse switches or Eltako, switch on with an electrical impulse and off again with another. The RS series switches electrical consumers up to 16 A in pulse mode. The design is suitable for installation in electrical distribution systems. These impulse switches have local command inputs for switching on and off. Properties: - high flexibility through various contact configurations, - contour and terminal compatible with the installation relay range, - option of a visual display of the operating status using LED, - low switching noise and no humming noises, - duty cycle: 100% with 0.5 TE spacer, - front-side switch position indicator, - glow lamps parallel to control buttons possible, - simple connection through generously dimensioned, captive terminals, - no need to plug the connecting wires behind the back, - easy accessibility for connecting the coil supply, - touch-safe according to BGVA3, - single snap-on fastening for the 35 mm mounting rail, - local and central control - two-stage groups can be switched (RSZ only) Mounting type: - quick fastening on mounting rail - installation position as desired Areas of application: The components offer universal application options for control tasks in industrial and building technology as well as in domestic installations. They are particularly suitable for switching lighting systems, electric heaters, ventilation, air conditioning systems, fans, heat pumps and incandescent and gas discharge lamps. Notes: - The designation of the devices in the RS series describes both the rated voltage (first group of digits) and the contact design (last group of digits), which are listed in the order normally open, normally closed and changeover. For example, an 'RS024-110' has a rated voltage of 24V, one normally open and one normally closed contact, but no changeover contact. - The duty cycle (ED) is max. 1h. To achieve 100% ED, the RD05 spacer must be used on both sides. - Glow lamps from illuminated buttons connected in parallel generate reactive currents which, if there are too many, can be compensated for by a capacitor block to prevent the coil from heating up too much.
