Fuse switch disconnectors disconnect and switch even under load. They protect the system against overcurrent and short circuits. The Tytan II series is suitable for D01 and D02 fuses. The plug-in technology ensures that all phases are disconnected at the same time, so the mechanics of the series prevent high contact resistance and minimize thermal power losses. This version with empty housing is equipped with a monitoring unit for the fuse. It detects a fuse failure and signals it via a relay and LED on the front of the device. The monitoring ensures three-phase operation and thus serves as additional protection for three-phase motors, for example. Disconnectors in empty housings are supplied with fitting inserts for fuses up to 63 A. These can be exchanged for inserts that are color-matched to the rated current. The empty housings can accommodate either fuse plug sets with a mechanical display or with a flashing indicator.
