The rotary switches in the Z-DS series are constructed in a modular fashion: The switch itself consists of the locking mechanism and the switching package. The switching cams (therefore also called cam switches) are driven by a stable, torsion-resistant aluminum shaft. The switching package consists of one or more switching cells with one or two independent, double-breaking contacts. The connection of adjacent switch terminals, as required for the Z-DSV voltmeter switch, is incorporated in the switch press part. This means that there is no hindrance when connecting the connecting conductors. Application: Can be used for practically any desired application. E.g. motor switches: garage doors, fans, electrically operated roller shutters, heating controls, lighting fixtures, instrument switches, various control purposes, etc., design in accordance with IEC 60947-3, IEC 60947-5-1,0660, EN 60947-3, SEV
