Detects smoke using the scattered light principle and triggers an optical (red LED) and an acoustic alarm (buzzer) accordingly. The alarm remains active as long as smoke is detected. The smoke detector is powered by a 9 V battery (LR61). A battery that needs to be changed or the smoke detector is dirty is indicated by the optical and acoustic signal generator. In addition to the automatic self-test, a test button enables the device to be tested manually. Warning: If an alarm or test is triggered and you are too close to the smoke detector, this can damage your hearing!!! In order to integrate the smoke detector into the Eaton wireless system, the adapter module (110770) must be plugged into the smoke detector and then connected to the binary input 2x signal contact (265627) in mode 2. Use with the binary input 2x230VAC (265626) is NOT permitted!!! Attention: ensure correct wiring! Battery included in delivery.
