The Einhell battery charger CE-BC 4 M is an intelligent battery charger, adapted to the technically advanced and powerful batteries of modern motor vehicles. The intelligent battery charger with microprocessor control is suitable for a wide range of vehicle battery types and has a range of technical protection and care mechanisms. The main focus of the development is on fast, gentle charging of the batteries so that the longest possible service life is achieved at full power. Operating the charger is easier than with conventional devices thanks to a detailed charging display. The smart control electronics analyze the type and condition of the connected battery and initiate the optimal mode based on requirements. The trickle charge function protects and preserves the battery to ensure a permanently ideal charge level. This makes the CE-BC 4 M suitable for all vehicle types, including seasonal vehicles with long downtimes: Instead of allowing the battery to slowly drain completely and thus risking a deep discharge, the battery is gently kept at its optimal level by means of trickle charging. The trickle charge relieves the battery cells and extends the service life, thus preventing the avoidable, costly replacement of a vehicle battery damaged by deep discharge. Cars, motorcycles or scooters are ready for use immediately at the start of the season. A winter charging mode has been developed especially for outside temperatures below 5° Celsius. The device is also equipped with a recondition mode, which can breathe new life into deeply discharged batteries, and a supply mode for use as a power supply. The Einhell battery charger meets IP protection class 65, which means it is dustproof and protected against water jets. The LCD battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance what charge level the battery is at and what mode the charger is set to. The device distinguishes between four charging levels and the connection of 12 volt batteries. The display on the Einhell battery charger also indicates if the clamps are connected incorrectly and immediately alerts the user to any problems. The fully insulated battery terminals make the Einhell battery charger easy and safe to connect. The housing is provided with a hanging loop for mounting on the wall.
