The Einhell battery charger CE-BC 6 M is an intelligent battery charger, adapted to the technically advanced and powerful batteries of modern motor vehicles. The battery charger with microprocessor control is suitable for a wide variety of vehicle battery types and has a range of technical protection and care mechanisms. The main focus of the development is on fast, gentle charging of the batteries so that the longest possible service life is achieved at full power. Operating the charger is easier than with conventional devices thanks to a detailed charging display. The CE-BC 6 M automatically adapts to the battery voltage of 12 V vehicles. The multi-stage charging cycle of the Einhell battery charger is automatically monitored and adjusted by the microprocessor control. The smart control electronics analyze the type and condition of the connected battery and initiate the optimal mode as needed. The trickle charge function protects and preserves the battery for a permanently ideal charge level. This makes the CE-BC 6 M suitable for all types of vehicle, including seasonal vehicles that are left idle for long periods of time: Instead of allowing the battery to slowly drain completely and risking a deep discharge, the battery is gently kept at its optimal level using a trickle charge. The trickle charge relieves the load on the battery cells and extends the service life, thus preventing the avoidable, costly replacement of a vehicle battery damaged by deep discharge. Cars, motorcycles or scooters are ready for use immediately at the start of the season. A winter charging mode has been developed especially for outside temperatures below 5° Celsius. The device is also equipped with a reconditioning mode, which can breathe new life into deeply discharged batteries, and a supply mode for use as a power supply. The battery charger from Einhell is equipped with automatic overcharge, short circuit and reverse polarity protection: These protective mechanisms protect both the charger and the battery. The LCD battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance the charge level of the battery and the mode the charger is set to. The fully insulated battery terminals allow the batteries to be connected to the Einhell battery charger easily and safely. The housing is equipped with a hanging loop for attaching to the wall.
