The Einhell battery charger CE-BC 15 M is an intelligent battery charger, adapted to the technically advanced and powerful batteries of modern motor vehicles. The intelligent battery charger with microprocessor control is suitable for a wide variety of vehicle battery types and has a range of technical protection and care mechanisms. The main focus of the development was on fast, gentle charging of the batteries so that the longest possible service life is achieved at full power. The smart control electronics analyze the type and condition of the connected battery and initiate the optimal mode based on requirements. The trickle charge function protects and preserves the battery to ensure a permanently ideal charge level. This makes the CE-BC 15 M suitable for all vehicle types, including seasonal vehicles with long downtimes: Instead of allowing the battery to slowly drain completely and thus risking a deep discharge, the battery is gently kept at its optimal level by means of trickle charging. The trickle charge relieves the load on the battery cells and extends the service life, thus preventing the avoidable, costly replacement of a vehicle battery damaged by deep discharge. Cars, motorcycles or scooters are ready for use immediately at the start of the season. A winter charging mode has been developed especially for outside temperatures below 5° Celsius. The Einhell battery charger can support the battery with 100 A starting current (max. 5 seconds) using the jump start function. After briefly charging a capacitor, the device can carry out a jump start process to start the engine immediately - similar to bridging a second vehicle. The Einhell battery charger is equipped with automatic overcharge, short circuit and reverse polarity protection: These protective mechanisms protect both the charger and the battery. The LED battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance what charge level the battery is at and what mode the charger is set to. The fully insulated battery terminals make the Einhell battery charger easy and safe to connect.
