The KNX K8 actuators have internal temperature controllers and output channels for controlling heating or cooling systems. The temperature controllers can control the 8 outputs of the KNX K8 as well as other air conditioning systems on the KNX bus. In the automatic mode of the temperature controller, target temperatures are specified for different modes. This makes it easy to switch between the comfort, standby, eco and building protection modes. Switching is done via an object, e.g. by manual switching, timer switching or sensor switching outputs in the KNX system. Buttons on the device allow direct manual switching of the connected systems. LEDs show whether the output channel has been operated manually or is running in an automatic mode.
