The KNX weather stations measure temperature, wind speed and brightness. They detect precipitation and receive the GPS signal for time and location. In addition, the exact position of the sun (azimuth and elevation) is calculated from location coordinates and time. All values can be used to control limit-dependent switching outputs. The states can be linked using AND logic gates and OR logic gates. The sensor, evaluation electronics and the electronics of the bus connection are housed in the compact housing. ATTENTION The sun position calculation is optimized for the UTC -1.+3 range. The device should therefore only be used in Europe.
