Maximum current 32A, standby loss only 0.5 watts. Modular device for mounting on DIN-EN 60715 TH35 rail. 1 division unit = 18mm wide, 58mm deep. The EVA12 energy consumption indicator measures the active energy like an AC meter based on the current flowing between the input and output and stores the consumption in non-volatile memory. Like all meters without a MID declaration of conformity, it is not approved for monetary electricity billing in Europe. The accuracy is the same as for all Eltako AC meters of class B at MID (1%), the starting current is 20mA. The energy consumption indicator therefore reproduces exactly the measurement of the meter installed elsewhere in the building for electricity billing. The display is divided into 3 fields. Field 1: This display refers to the accumulated value in field 3. IIII slowly running to the right = field 3 shows the accumulated consumption since reset. This is the normal display. S01 = field 3 shows the consumption for the last full hour up to S24 = 24 hours ago. T01 = field 3 shows the consumption for the last full days up to T31 = 31 days ago. M01 = field 3 shows the consumption for the last full months up to M12 = 12 months ago. J01 = field 3 shows the consumption for the last full year up to J24 = 24 years ago. Field 2: Current value of the power consumption (active power) in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW). The display arrows on the left and right show the automatic switching between W and kW. Field 3: Accumulated value in kWh. Display up to 9,999kWh with 3 decimal places, from 10kWh with 1 decimal place and from 1000kWh without a decimal place. Use the left MODE button to scroll through the display options and these are shown in field 1: S01, T01, M01 and J01 as described above. Finally, press MODE to display the country code for the language you have set. D for German, GB for English and F for French. Use the right SELECT button to increase the number shown by 1 each time you press the display options and the corresponding value is shown in field 3. The last full hour becomes the hour before last, and so on. If MODE was used to select the active language, SELECT can be used to switch to a different language. If you exit the new language setting with MODE, it is active. 20 seconds after the last MODE or SELECT was pressed and both buttons are pressed briefly at the same time, the program automatically returns to the normal display. Reset: To start saving the values to the exact hour, we recommend a reset at a suitable time after installation. To do this, hold down the MODE and SELECT buttons at the same time for 3 seconds until RES appears in field 1. If SELECT is now pressed briefly, all memories are reset to zero. The program then automatically returns to the normal display. Error messages: If the current direction is incorrect, F01 is shown on the display. If the voltage drops below 170V, F02 is shown on the display.
