Radio reception antenna module for the RS485 sub-bus. Standby loss only 0.5 watts. SMA socket for the small antenna included. The reception range can be increased by connecting a larger radio antenna FA250*, FA200* or FAG55E-* in an optimized position. Housing dimensions LxWxH: 78x40x22mm. Up to three radio reception modules in their own mini housing can be installed anywhere in the building in addition to a FAM14 if required and connected to the main bus with a 4-wire shielded sub-bus cable (e.g. telephone cable) via a gateway FGW14. To do this, connect the RSA/RSB terminals of the FEM to the RSA2/RSB2 terminals of the FGW14. Also connect the +12V/GND terminals of the FEM to the +12V/GND terminals of the FGW14. The wiring of several FEMs must be done with one cable in the form of a chain, as is required for RS485 bus systems. Star-shaped wiring with one cable per FEM is not permitted. The jumper must be plugged into a different position for each of the three radio receiver modules. To do this, carefully open the housing at the point provided on the narrow side with a screwdriver. Blade width 6.5mm, max. 1.5mm thick.
