The sensor measures the volatile organic compounds VOC (volatile organic compounds) in the air and assigns them to a VOC index. The VOC index indicates the extent to which the indoor air quality has deteriorated or improved compared to the average VOC environment of the sensor. The temperature is also measured from -20°C to +60°C and the humidity from 0 to 100%. For every change in the VOC index and humidity by 5% and every change in temperature by 0.6°C, a radio telegram is sent to the Eltako radio network within 30 seconds. If no change is made, a status telegram is sent every 10 minutes.
