Wireless outdoor siren white, 260x200x70mm, with solar cell and lithium polymer battery. Protection class IP54. Smart home actuator. The siren is used for acoustic and optical alarm signaling. 4 different alarm modulations can be selected using jumpers, the volume is at least 85 dB. The optical signaling is always done by flashing the LEDs under the red cover. The siren is controlled by the Safe, MiniSafe control units or the FAC55D and FAC65D wireless alarm controllers. Sensors that are to trigger an alarm are taught into these control units or controllers. These include motion detectors, door and window contacts, water and smoke detectors, temperature sensors and wireless transmitter modules. This also determines which sensors in which combination should trigger an alarm. For this purpose, there is cyclical radio contact between the siren and the control unit. The radio module in the siren queries the control unit every 3 seconds to see if there is an alarm. If this communication fails during alarm readiness, e.g. because the control panel has no power supply, this can have the following effect, which can be set using jumpers in the siren: No reaction, 2 short acoustic and optical pulses at 10 second intervals (factory setting), 1 second short acoustic and optical alarm at 10 second intervals, trigger alarm immediately. The maximum alarm duration can be set using jumpers in the siren for 1, 3 and 5 minutes. The factory setting is 1 minute. The siren should be installed in a location that is as protected from rain as possible, but where there is enough light for the solar cell attached at the top. Normal daylight for a few hours a day is sufficient to keep the internal battery charged. To protect against theft or manipulation, a contact is attached to the mounting plate, which immediately triggers an alarm when the siren is removed from the bracket.
