Kabu-BV is a blind plug made of a solid rubber core with a soft yellow duroplast elastomer coating and stainless steel press flanges. This gas- and water-tight blind plug is used for Kabuflex® R plus pipes for building entries. The advantage is the soft surface, which creates a secure seal against gas and water pressure. Due to the very good adhesive properties, the Kabu-BV blind plug sits securely in the pipe, protecting it against water and gas pressure. Installation can be carried out successfully without special tools (torque wrench) using the visual contact indicator (yellow bead) on the press flange edges. To ensure secure sealing, ensure that the inner seal is in the area of the subfloor or screed or the Kabu-Seal outer seal.
