The Hydro-Tower with integrated heat pump manager enables the quick and easy connection of an externally installed high-efficiency air/water heat pump to a heating system with an unmixed heating circuit. The following components are installed to save space and wired ready for use: Switchable pipe heating (2/4/6 kW) to support the heating system 100 l buffer tank with installation option for an additional immersion heater (up to CTHK 634) 300 l hot water tank with 3.2 m² pipe heat exchanger and 1.5 kW flange heating for thermal disinfection Electronically controlled circulation pump, fully wired for an unmixed heating circuit (consumer circuit) Free pressure heating circulation pump 5 m with a water throughput of 1.5 m3/h, energy efficiency EEI 0.20. Additional circulation pump for the generator circuit and hot water charging pump interface card for connecting a heat pump with electronic expansion valve.
The hydraulic decoupling of the generator and consumer circuits is carried out via two differential pressure-free distributors (bypass lines), each of which is equipped with a check valve. To reduce running times, the unregulated additional circulation pump in the generator circuit is only operated when the compressor is running and when there is a risk of frost.
The even flow through the series buffer tank extends the running times of the compressor and ensures the required heating water throughput in all operating situations. Access for service work from the front, no minimum lateral clearance required. Left and right-hand wall installation possible.
