The new series of NVR network video recorders are compact systems that only record from network cameras. Depending on the model, the NVRs support the recording or management of up to 32 network cameras at a resolution of 4K. Ideally, the NVRs are installed centrally, e.g. in a server cabinet, and the data is accessed remotely using the free client software included in delivery or via the web browser. The 1098/3xxP models also have an internal PoE switch, which allows up to 8 IP-Pro cameras to be supplied with power via the network cable.
