IPassan is an IP-based access control system designed for medium to large companies and residential buildings. Thanks to its modular design, Ipassan can be used in systems of any size. Extensions are possible at any time. The system is set up using the IPassan Manager. This intuitive software can be installed on either a computer or server for remote access and multiple access. IPassan is a true client server that offers the greatest possible flexibility. A cloud version is also available at www.ipassan.com. This requires an on-site internet connection. The IP-based solution can use an existing IT infrastructure. There is no need to install additional costly cabling and communication is faster with this solution. If no network is available, an RS485 bus can also be used to extend the network. There are two types of connection to connect the first controller to the server. The IPassan Manager installed on the computer can access the controller either via Ethernet or USB. USB is very universal and remote management is possible via Ethernet. Two different communication technologies are available to adapt to the specific building conditions: - The encrypted FDI RS485 bus has all the advantages of a field bus: easy installation, reliability and convenient use. Only three wires are used to connect a peripheral device to the bus. Communication errors are indicated by an LED on the controller. - For higher performance, the subsequent controllers can be connected via a network (TCP/IP). Communication with third-party systems (elevators, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, etc.) can be established via expansion modules (inputs and outputs). Product features: - Manages 12 outputs
