A standby LED lights up green when the trip is ready for operation and flashes orange when an internal error is detected in the trip. Another LED starts flashing red when I = 105% Ir and lights up red continuously when I > 112% Ir. The three different operating states can be recognized by the position of the knob (ON = top, OFF = bottom, tripped = middle position). A device for locking the switching state in the ON or OFF position is integrated and can be used with a standard padlock without additional accessories.
