Circuit breaker h3+ P160 Energy 4P4D N0-50-100% 160A 70kA CTC. The molded case circuit breaker in accordance with DIN EN 60947-2 protects the electrical system and networks against overload and short circuit. The tripping curve of the electronic trip can be set via the integrated OLED display, via a connectable door-mounted display or by a terminal with an Internet browser and WiFi using the configuration tool. The tripping devices for the overload current (Ir), the short-time delayed short-circuit current (Isd) and the undelayed short-circuit protection (Ii) as well as the time delay tr in the event of overload and the time delay tsd for short-time delayed short-circuit tripping can be set separately. In addition, an activatable I²t function between the short-circuit currents Ii and Isd and the short-term delayed and undelayed tripping time allows the tripping curve to be adjusted in inverse proportion. The neutral conductor protection can be set to the OFF position, 50% of Ir and Isd or 100% of Ir and Isd using a controller. The time delay remains the same as for tr and tsd. The ready LED lights up green when the tripping device is ready for operation and flashes orange when an internal error is detected in the tripping device. The LED for the overcurrent display starts flashing red when I = 105% Ir and lights up red continuously when I > 112% Ir. The three different operating states can be recognized by the position of the toggle (ON = top, OFF = bottom, tripped = middle position). A device for locking the switching state in the ON or OFF position is integrated and can be used with a standard padlock without additional accessories. The trigger mechanism can be tested and the main contacts opened using a trigger button. A hinged cover with a captive quick-release screw allows access to the installation space for optional auxiliary contacts and other triggers. Integrated accessories can be seen and identified via a viewing window without opening the hinged cover. A potential-free alarm contact for the switch-off warning in the event of a risk of shutdown due to overload is integrated as standard. This is closed when I > 90% Ir (default value, changeable). This is indicated by an additional LED. It lights up orange when the contact is closed. An additional potential-free contact can be used in the trigger unit for up to 12 individual alarms. The set trigger curve can be tested and documented using an interface for a diagnostic and configuration tool. The integrated measuring technology measures all energies with an accuracy of class 1 according to IEC 61557-12. The partial energy storage can be reset. Power consumption values can also be calculated using the h3+ Energy molded case circuit breaker. These calculations can be made using a fixed or sliding interval, which can be set from 5 to 60 minutes in 1 minute increments. The calculation window can be synchronized with a signal sent by the communication system via the COM module. These consumption values can be used to create trends and forecasts based on this data. They provide basic data for the development of a load profile. In addition, the h3+ Energy molded case circuit breakers measure the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the current and voltage.
