The tripping curve of the electronic trip can be set using a rotary latching switch. The tripping for the overload current (Ir) and the short-time delayed short-circuit current (Isd) can be set separately. The instantaneous tripping for the short-circuit current Ii is fixed. A standby LED lights up green when the trip is ready for operation and flashes orange when an internal error is detected in the trip. Another LED starts flashing red when I = 105% Ir and lights up red continuously when I > 112% Ir. The three different operating states can be recognized by the position of the knob (ON = top, OFF = bottom, tripped = middle position).
