SpotClip-II was developed for larger recessed spotlights up to 95 mm total height. Creates a safe distance between the recessed spotlight, vapor barrier film and insulation material. 4 additional, flexible tabs prevent contact between loose insulation material and the luminaire body, making it ideal for the use of loose-fill and blown-in insulation materials. Removal of a tab by breaking out to accommodate the transformer or supply cable. Provides greater stability thanks to the improved design of the 4 support feet. Suitable for installation diameters of 62 - 90 mm. Tested according to EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-2. The SpotClip-II spacer was developed for the safe installation of recessed spotlights in suspended ceilings. It can be inserted very easily into the ceiling recesses and offers considerable time savings during installation. The shape allows a safe distance between the luminaire and the insulation material and reduces the risk of overheating. SpotClip-II is suitable for both halogen and LED recessed luminaires.
