The Homematic IP garage door button controls garage door drives within the Homematic Smart Home system. The small button replaces conventional garage door buttons and integrates the garage door drive directly into the Homematic system. Once the Homematic IP garage door button has been set up via the browser-based interface of the Homematic central unit CCU2, the garage door can be controlled using a button, Homematic IP remote control or various partner apps. This means that all typical functions such as opening, closing and stopping are possible at the touch of a button. The Homematic IP garage door button can be powered wirelessly using LR06 batteries or directly wired using a 5-24 volt direct current source. The cable ducts required for this are located on the back of the device. The required mounting material is of course included. Operation of the garage door button via the Homematic IP Access Point will soon be supported.
