The Homematic IP roller shutter actuator for branded switches enables convenient control of connected AC motors for roller shutters or awnings. This allows electrically operated blinds to be raised or lowered automatically. The roller shutters or awnings can be conveniently operated using the switch's rocker switch, a radio remote control or the Homematic IP app. The roller shutter actuator is suitable for installation in a flush-mounted box for switches from a wide range of manufacturers. The adapters for various switch series enable cost-effective replacement of switches from common manufacturers with an intelligent Homematic IP installation. By using components from the existing or planned switch series and wiring, the installation effort is reduced to a minimum. The design or colors and surfaces of already installed switch series remain unchanged, as existing frames and rockers can continue to be used.
