The Homematic IP wall switch for branded switches enables the control of other Homematic IP devices and functions via a rocker switch. With just one push of a button, it is possible, for example, to switch the heating to eco mode, switch lights on and off, or switch the panic light as part of security functions. It can be installed in an empty flush-mounted box or replace existing switches if there is a neutral conductor in the flush-mounted box in addition to the phase. Adapters for different switch series enable cost-saving replacement. By using components from the existing or planned switch series and wiring, the installation effort is reduced to a minimum. The design or colors and surfaces of already installed switch series remain unchanged, as existing frames and rockers can continue to be used.
