The Homematic IP switching actuator for branded switches with signal light provides a 2-way wall button with individually adjustable button lighting within the Homematic IP smart home system. The light color (white or colored) and the brightness of both button fields can be freely selected, completely deactivated and changed depending on the intended use. In conjunction with other Homematic IP devices, the signal lights can, for example, indicate a finished washing machine, the respective alarm status, eco mode or an open window. The integrated switching actuator can switch loads of up to five amps and can be operated via the buttons on the device, via motion detector, remote control or via the free Homematic IP smartphone app. The wall button is installed in a standard flush-mounted box. It is also possible to integrate the switching actuator for branded switches into existing switch series with 55 mm frame dimensions. Thanks to the latest electronics, the switching actuator for branded switches with signal light only consumes around 0.3 watts in standby mode.
