The Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat - basic is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home system and actively helps to save energy. The smart controller replaces conventional radiator thermostats, which can achieve energy savings of up to 33%. The thermostat is mounted on the radiator without interfering with the heating system and without tools and is ready for use immediately thanks to a preset heating profile. The Homematic IP app can be used to set three individual heating profiles per day with up to 13 changes. This means that Homematic IP only heats certain rooms when there is a real need. The setup can be done flexibly on the device itself, using the Homematic IP app (in conjunction with the Homematic IP Access Point). You can also access the Homematic IP system at any time while on the go using the Homematic IP app. If you want, you can also conveniently control your Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat using voice commands with the Homematic IP Skill for Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It becomes really smart when combined with a Homematic IP window and door contact: if this registers an open window, the radiator is automatically turned down. If the window is closed again, the radiator starts working again. The radiator thermostat can be integrated into a comprehensive smart home system via the app. The cloud solution, for example, enables the temperature to be set at any time from any location.
