With the Homematic IP interface for smart meters (HmIP-ESI-IEC) you can always keep an eye on the electricity consumption in your home. The electricity meter data is always displayed in the Homematic IP app. Long-term monitoring of consumption is also possible via measurement data acquisition. Installation takes place in just a few steps directly on the electricity meter. The interface is easy to install yourself. Electronic household meters have an optical data interface in accordance with IEC 62056-21. A metal plate is embedded around this so-called info interface so that the magnetic reading head can be easily fixed in place. The magnetic sensor is simply fixed on top of this. The sensor is then connected to the interface and integrated into the smart home via the app.
