The receiver can be used to automatically start recordings when software motion is detected (pixel change in detection areas and/or detection of human forms up to 10m) and to record video and sound (with 2 second pre-alarm recording) on a microSDHC/microSDXC card (max. 128GB, UHS-II, U2, A1, V6, not included) in up to 3MP resolution (screen resolution: 1024 x 600 pixels) (ring buffer). Video compression optimizes bandwidth and storage requirements. The microphone and loudspeaker integrated in the camera and receiver enable two-way communication. If the receiver is connected to the home router via WLAN, it is possible to view live images and recordings and to have two-way communication via WLAN or the Internet from a smartphone or tablet. Plug-and-play setup for app/PC software access without a fixed public IP address or DynDNS. App for iOS (App Store) and Android (Play Store, Google version) available free of charge (not part of the product, no promise of a service level). Automatic push notification can be set when motion is detected. App access from up to 3 smartphones/tablets at the same time. Browser access not possible. Receiver can be set up or hung on the wall. USB connection for backup on USB stick or operation via optional mouse. Optional batteries enable portable use of the receiver for up to 3 hours.
