The LCN-B3I is a miniaturized binary sensor for up to 3 potential-free contacts. It provides an internal query voltage of 5V for this purpose. It has its own processor and sends its information to the I connection of an LCN-UPP, LCN-UPS, LCN-UP24, LCN-SH, LCN-SHS, LCN-HU or LCN-LD module. Each binary input distinguishes between the ON/OFF states. When activated, the long command is triggered once, and when interrupted, the go command is triggered once. An LCN module with a binary sensor automatically sends status messages without these having to be parameterized in the LCN module. Due to its very compact design, the LCN-B3I can be used in many places in the building. It integrates up to 3 potential-free permanent contacts into the LCN system. These can be reed contacts, limit switches or other signal contacts. This allows windows, doors and smoke detectors, for example, to be integrated into the control system and reported.
