The LCN-B3IN evaluates up to 3 potential-free permanent contacts. It provides an internal query voltage for this purpose. In addition, it provides a power supply (5V/12V) for the external sensors. The LCN-B3IN is connected to the I connection of one of the intelligent modules, such as: LCN-HU, LCN-SH, LCN-SHS, LCN-UPP, LCN-UP24 or LCN-UPS using its connecting cable. The LCN-B3IN integrates up to 3 potential-free permanent contacts into the LCN system. These can be reed contacts, limit switches or other signaling contacts. This is used to integrate windows, doors and smoke detectors into the control system and report them. The LCN-B3IN provides this for sensors that require an additional power supply. These can be light barriers, Hall sensors in roller shutter drives or the evaluation electronics of block locks.
