The LCN-AVC is an electrothermal actuator with electronic travel measurement for radiator valves. The actuator mechanism works with a PTC-heated expansion element and a compression spring. The expansion element is heated by applying the operating voltage and the integrated tappet is moved as a result. The force generated by the movement is transferred to the valve tappet and opens or closes the valve. The LCN-AVC with 0-10V control is used when several radiators in large rooms are to be controlled with the same controller. Each actuator measures its valve and thus ensures that the heating output is evenly distributed across all radiators when operated in parallel - regardless of the valve characteristics. Up to 5 units per 0-10V output can be operated in parallel on the LCN-HU.
