The LCN-GT2 is a glass keypad. It is mounted on a flush-mounted box using the mounting plate provided and firmly anchored with a slider. The connection is made via the I connection of any LCN module from version 140719 (July 2010). The 2 capacitive sensor surfaces are arranged behind a 5 mm thick surface. A light touch of the surface is enough to trigger functions. A status LED integrated into each sensor surface provides information about the current status of any actuator or sensor in the building. Four states are possible. The LCN-GT2 also offers a Corona® light ring with white LEDs for wall lighting (LCN-NUI required) and elegant backlighting of the buttons (LCN-NUI required). This means that the LCN-GT2 can be operated comfortably even in low ambient light. The individual labels for the LCN-GT2 are transferred to a film or paper and placed through a small slot behind the glass surface. The label can be recreated at any time, so that changes in the key assignment are no problem. Easy-to-understand symbols and templates for the foil are included. The sensor surfaces of the LCN-GT2 react capacitively to touching the glass surface. Depending on the duration of the touch, a corresponding LCN control command (short, long or go) is sent. The control command is transmitted to the I connection of an LCN module via the mounting plate included in the scope of delivery. The 2 status LEDs in the sensor surfaces are individually controlled via the I connection and configured via LCN-PRO (on, off, flashing, flickering). An external power supply is required for the Corona® light ring and the key backlight (LCN-NUI, not included in the scope of delivery).
