Glass universal sensor for temperature, brightness, humidity, presence & IR reception The LCN-GUS is a universal sensor for temperature, brightness, humidity, movement & IR reception in the design of the LCN-GT series. Can be used for all LCN modules from firmware version 1702... (Feb. 2013). The digital temperature sensor, in conjunction with the integrated logic, delivers almost noise-free measured values and transmits these to the connected LCN module via the I connection. By integrating the LCN-RR IR receiver, the LCN-GUS can process the signals from the LCN remote controls. The light sensor records the brightness in rooms. The measured value can be used to control constant light in order to achieve optimal lighting conditions while saving energy at the same time. The integrated light sensor covers a very large measuring range of 5 decades (1-100,000Lx). The presence/motion detector detects the movement of people and objects by their heat radiation. It can be used, optionally with the integrated light sensor, to switch lights and for alarm functions in building surveillance. The presence detector works according to the passive infrared principle. The change in the heat radiation of a (human) body is recorded. The LCN-GUS can act on the controllers as well as the switching thresholds. The measured values can be exchanged between the LCN modules and used for calculation operations.
